I've been having a problem with printing a particular pdf file from Evince. The pdf is opened and displayed correctly but when I want to print all I get is sheets with only punctuation marks on them....
This works for me but adds around 6s to my boot time. Not sure if it's really worth it.
I have the same issue here when trying to burn a data disk. I can't find any solutions on the internet though. Help would be appreciated.

That did the trick. Installation finished fine and I've also downloaded and installed the ATI drivers without any problems. Thanks for helping.
Thanks for the suggestion. I used safe graphics mode and I was able to boot with Karmic 64 bit live CD and I'm installing Ubuntu. Will report back on my progress.
