    Minor update:
    Not sure what has changed, but now upon running 'sudo run-parts /etc/update-motd.d/ I am getting the below error messages:

    Recently installed Ubuntu 14.04 in VMware, and am seeing really poor connectivity with the native driver for the RealTek 802.11N Wireless. Straight out of the box,the NIC refuses to connect....
