Must Have Feature !

Hello Guys and Gurls
I am now very impressed with jaunty and the work being done to karmic but I want to propose 100 must have new features to Ubuntu developers that should be implemented into the post karmic release 10.10 so what do you think ubuntu is missing ???

01- Add pause and resume to copying function
02- Add ability to auto rename files with the same name when i copy folder over another
03- Thumbnail preview of Images and videos in confirmation box to copy over a folder with the same name
04- Bigger Icon size with smaller text and inter-icon Space in nautilus
05- Add Menu system to Nautilus Side panel so we can start Applications from nautilus
06- Add search Box to nautilus Like that of firefox that uses beagle or tracker for faster search
07- Combine nautilus Stop and Refresh Into One Button
08- Add column view into nautilus
09- view folder of file size when hovering over it
10- Add Fences to desktop like Kde
11- Add option to add a specific resolution to list that is not there may be GTK-xorg.conf
12- Ability to have Different wallpaper to each work space (with nautilus not compiz)
13- Better Subtitles with Totem ( Add Shadows )
14- Add Uptime to System-Monitor
15- Add Boot Defragment so it defrag files needed to boot and make them in the begining of the / that will make ubuntu boots faster
16- GDM should Has a button to change language
17- GDM should has an option to start in safe graphics mode and to disable compiz this time only
18- Use Gnomenu as Default
19- Better support for Dial up
20- Please Use pidgin and not empathy that is way behind pidgin in capabilities
21- Add Font Manager for ubuntu
22- we Need a beter video editor that can trim add transitional effects and easy to use for home videos making
23- Add option of converting the current install into LIVE-CD
24- make Special Icons to Home folder sub folders like Pictures and Videos
25- Make a Special Icon for / partition
26- Add Option to Lock the Panels
27- Add undo and Redo Function to nautilus
28- The need for a GTK app to update firmware of Mobilephones and BIOS and every thing we own (Thank you iaskedalice09)

It's not Ubuntu's fault at all but I would love to be able to update my BlackBerry OS (NOT sync) with Ubuntu GNU/Linux. I think there's a beta program out but I haven't tried it.

as for # 18, i preffer the default menu personally. i have gnomenu, but it's just in the lower left corner and set to look like the vista menu for when friends use my computer

exactly, theres no reason they can't both be options. i'm just saying we don't need to change the default.

(couldn't hurt to add a .deb to the repos though)
