This is really good! I had not found this
Do you know how gnome-do does this? does it interact directly with the x server or does it use some other program to do this?
There is also a tile plugin for compiz in the compiz-fusion-plugins-unsupported package.
You need the version (0.8.3+git20090911-1ubuntu1) from the PPA for compiz though.
I only download this package from the compiz ppa and then disable the repository,
because I don't like some of the changes in the other updated packages.

Having a problem with the snap left. I am using keyboard shortcuts to get the scripts to run and am able to get snap up and snap right to work. However, when I do snap left I get an error that says "Error while trying to run (/home/king/Public/scripts/aerosnap_left) which is linked to the key (<Mod4>1)". I have double checked the script and have made sure that has permission to run as a program, but it still doesn't work. Does anyone have an idea what I should do?
Never mind. I fixed the problem
I got this to work. However, after restart, it doesnt work. I've tried remapping to other keys and no luck. Any idea on how to start this program after reboot?
BTW, this snap feature is enabled in KDE 4.4 by default.
I really like that, but I have one question: Is there a way to only activate the plugin at the time I really move a window to one of the sides of the desktop? The problem is that as soon as I move my mouse cursor to the left or the right (without having window selected) the currently active window resizes.
