I'm unfortunately having some problems...

I either implement gradients or "independent letters" that I can turn to a direction different from the whole texts direction, example:

instead of having the bottom of the text facing left.

If you try to align sentences in the middle, I think effect won't be nice especially with low-case letters:

Isn't that you've done before? Maybe this thread http://ubuntuforums.org/showthread.php?t=1280453 is a better place to discuss of that.

hello again... i need hellp on my conky... it always takes over any windows. but when it starts is not like that. after a while of browsing and using the Pc it will suddenly pops up on the window. i did change the window type to:

own_window_type override

own_window_type desktop doesnt work for me because all compiz gets crazy. the cube becomes trasparent.

heres my conky conf:

i just put a # on the own_window_hints undecorate,sticky,skip_taskbar,skip_pager,below

help anyone? why is it like this?

and i also noticed that every time i post a screenshot its been like that? (BLURRY)
im using envidia driver... any one having the same problems like this?

Try these setting for conky

own_window_colour black
own_window_hints undecorated,below,sticky,skip_taskbar,skip_pager
own_window_transparent yes
own_window_type root
own_window yes

and these on compiz on the windows decoration option
then decoration windows.

(any) & !(title=desktopterminal)

Works for me, and I had a similar problem to you.
